On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of fjords and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. Our cabin, "Bjørkeli", is located undisturbed in Engeskaret in Almestranda, and has panoramic views of the beautiful Vartdalsfjorden and the majestic Sunnmørsalps. Here you wake up to birdsong and can enjoy nature and morning coffee on the spacious terrace. The cabin has new, comfortable outdoor furniture, fire pan and barbecue. The place, Bjørkeli, is 50 years old. It has charm and a personal touch on furniture and interior. We think you'll be fine here.

Enjoy the wonderful view from this idyllic storehouse located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The storage room is over a century old, but has been renovated. NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is only used by you guests and access to the rest of the main house is closed off. There is 5 gallons of water available in the fridge. The chalet is at the end of a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.

Kapteinåsen, Sæbø

Cozy holiday home with amazing views of Hjørundfjorden. Several patios/terraces, fire pit and barbecue. Outdoor jacuzzi for 5-6 people. The house is located 35m from the parking lot in sloping terrain. Small sandy beach and common barbecue/outdoor area nearby. 400 m to Sæbø center with grocery stores, niche stores, hotels and campsite. Motorboat can be rented at an additional cost, floating jetty 50m from the house. Please let us know before arrival if boat rental is applicable.
