FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården next to Nordmarksberg Manor: 19th century or older. In this farm the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – d. 1790) is said to have lived. On a stone in the foundation of the courtyard should be a carving with Nils name. Picture of this stone can be found in the Värmland archive's foot archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present. It's probably hidden by mortar covered over the rocks.

There are fishing and bathing opportunities just a short drive away. It's an 8 minute walk to the nearest store, and a one hour drive to get to big cities like Örebro and Karlstad. The house has wifi, and a small, nice sauna. You can enjoy the big garden, and eat as much berries and rhubarb that you like. Large parking space. Quiet neighbourhood.

Relax in this waterfront cabin on your own private peninsula in the beautiful Dalarna region. Enjoy the 200° water views and spend the days swimming or fishing from the private jetty with 2 kayaks available for use. Pick berries or mushrooms in the nearby forest or walk on beautiful trails. Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

Lovely vacation home for those who like animals and nature! Here you can fish, swim, hike and cycle. In the nearby area, there are several nature reserves as well as hiking and biking trails. You have access to a simple rowing boat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own swimming cove or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets are not included. For an additional cost, there is a rental from the host.

Maisans Stuga ist ein kleines aber feines Häuschen. Es liegt idyllisch direkt am Wasser. Du kannst in dem See baden, angeln, in der umgebenden Natur wandern, Fahrrad fahren, auf der Veranda direkt am See lesen oder einfach nur den Ausblick genießen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Quiet location in small genuine village. Close to forest and swimming lakes. 20 km to the picturesque town of Nora. The house shares land with a larger house where the landlord lives. Possibility to borrow rowing boat.
