Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper's House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is wall to wall with the brewery that has a renovated bakery oven.

Terraces around much of the cabin for those who love and relax in the sun lounger. About 20 minutes by car is Lyngdal which can offer shopping/restaurants and not least Sørlandsbadet. 30 min from the ski center.

At Bjennvann at Naglestad in Hægebostad municipality is a charming year-round cabin with perfect sun conditions. The cabin has a large terrace, and otherwise nature plot, with access to beach and swimming raft. The cottage is fully equipped, and is characterized by being a family cottage. There is decent room for 6 adults and 2 small ones around the table. Cold water that can be drunk. Hot water comes from water boiler tank. Compostdo. Portable shower for outdoor use. Bad Teliadekning, good Telenordekning. Canoe with vests (not kayak).

Spacious cottage with good outdoor space for all ages. Car road up to the door. The cabin is a bit secluded in a cozy cabin field. 300m from the cabin is Bjennvann which has a beach with a floating dock. There is a lot of marked hiking trails just outside the cabin door. In addition, the children's walking path is just near by. The cabin is surrounded by woods and there are lots of blueberries and wild raspberries right outside the door. Also mulch if one is lucky. 40 minutes from Lyngdal, 1 hour 10 minutes to Kristiansand
