Newer cabin of 136 m2 located on the east side of Odalen's pearl, Storsjøen. Here you can enjoy your vacation with family or friends. It is a peaceful little cottage area with about 50 cottages. Short distance to the lake for swimming, fishing and other water activities. Storsjøen is shallow and has high bathing temperatures of about 22-26 degrees. The area has 2 beaches, a long beach that is suitable for toddlers and one with more depth for the slightly larger ones. There are also many hiking trails to explore and small fishing waters in Odalen.

Closed child-friendly area where only residents have access to the road barrier. In summer, there is the possibility of swimming, fishing or hiking on prepared trails. Hurdal ski resort is a short drive away and the area offers amazing nature, hiking trails and swimming areas by beautiful Hurdalsjøen. The cabin is also close to the airport, and is just as suitable for holidays as for business trips. Spar Hurdal (grocery store/supermarket) 6km towards Hurdal. Linen and towels are included.

In the surrounding area there are several lakes and nice fishing waters, the opportunity to pick berries and mushrooms, hike or why not take a trip up to "Rännbergs Toppen" (hiking trail up to a nearby mountain peak)

There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.

The old summer barn at Hovelsrud Farm is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling cornfield – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach where you can swim, and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
