Located behind an 1844 Historic Plantation home listed on the National Register, our guest cottage is behind the main house. With it's own private entrance and porches overlooking horse pastures and barns. There are 150 acres with creeks and trails to ramble about and access to the Flint River located within walking distance (15 min walk). With Huntsville's sprawling growth surrounding us we are minutes to restaurants and shopping. Just 12 min to downtown Huntsville.

The guest house is your lake cottage home away from home. The house is directly on the water with access to dock your boat outside with ample bumpers at the boathouse on property. The location is right around the corner from City Park for loading and unloading and Goosepond Colony. This studio apartment is full of life inside and out. The grand piano is there just for all the practice you want to do. Then, stroll up the hillside and take in the view. Minutes away from Cherokee Rock Village, Little River Canyon, Little River, Coosa River, and Neely Henry Lake. The home sits across the field from me and is situated with a twin home that could be rented by someone else. Yours will be the one on the left.

There are hiking and biking trails and a swimming pool with cabana and playground for children. This getaway is somewhat remote to shopping or other city amenities. Scottsboro is about 20 miles away.
