The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell winterland.Approximately 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country slopes. The location in the middle between Bø and Notodden provides opportunities for trade and restaurants In the summertime it is possible to rent the canoe ( on sharing with my second cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- a day.

Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.

The outer panel has profiled edges and the wind skis have wood cut accents. The kitchen decor is handmade by Svartor and has carvings. There are beams and cotton paint on the ceiling. There is a road all the way. In the winter if it is slippery, the last ground will be best spared with 4 wheel drive, but most often with no problem anyway.

"Kjempehytta" is an Idyllic small cabin located on a beautiful island in Lake Toke in Bamble, Telemark. A perfect place to see the the starry night sky, and enjoy nature. In summer you can go swimming an fishing in the lake. To get to the island you need to padle a canoe. The canoe and two lifejackets are included in the rent.
