Røra bathing area is further out towards the mountain village, where simple meals, wine and pils are served. Food and drinks are also available at Olavsberget/ Olavskroa (path behind the marina) in addition, there are many nice small beaches and bathing areas. First Camp Norsjø holiday land is about 3 km away. Laundry facilities are also available.

Porsgrunn is known for its porcelen and the wholesale is located in the buildings to kiwi just 5 minutes walk towards the smallest bridge on your way to the city center.
