Bright, homely flat overlooking Rothesay Bay !
The flat is situated across the road from the beach (about 30 secs walk) We are on the edge of the town, about 2 mins walk from the main supermarket and about 3 mins walk from the main shopping street of the town. There is free parking at the back of the building and free parking at the front too. We are situated about 7/8 minutes walk from the main ferry pier and you can watch the ferry coming in from the front windows. All in all it's a very warm, comfortable flat and we are very pet friendly.

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

The Snug is a cosy wee detached holiday cottage tucked up a quite lane - a peaceful retreat. There's a comfy bedroom with king-sized bed, and a sofa bed in the living area, making it the ideal space for couples or small families (pets welcome too!). There's a lovely shingle beach at the foot of the lane and miles of secluded forest walks and cycle rides on the doorstep - the perfect base to escape the crowds and enjoy the beautiful west coast of Scotland.

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
