Tree house - in the heart of nature

In a forest edge on our farm overlooking vast fields, you can enjoy seclusion surrounded by the branches and foliage of the trees. The simple building stands on a plateau 2-3 meters above the ground between tree trunks. The branches of the trees form a roof over the small patio with a simple outdoor kitchen in front of the tent. You are completely off the grid but have access to a refrigerator and electricity at our farm where you can park, or borrow a cooler for food you bring with you. Private toilet with dry toilet and outdoor shower is 100 meters from the property.

With us, you get the feeling of staying in the countryside with your own garden, patio with barbecue grill. Also a barn for coffee breaks, lovely view. Proximity to Vadstena city center, castle and unique culture. Lovely pedestrian streets and shopping. Omberg's beautiful nature or a nice swim in fresh Lake Vättern. Close to the golf course in Vadstena, Omberg, Mantorp park.

Here, you can relax and enjoy a lovely rural setting! Close to Lake Tåkern; from the cottage, you can see the lake and the open expanse of the plain. Comfortable accommodation with a kitchen, living room, shower and toilet. There are two double beds, one of which is located in the adjoining wing. Two additional beds are available (mainly suitable for children). Large green spaces with room for socialising and play. Outdoor furniture and barbecue available. Close to Naturum, Omberg and Väderstad, which offer a range of shops.

Welcome to a completely unique and newly renovated house on a hill overlooking Tåkern and its beach! This is the place to stay for those who want to live as close to nature and the rich wildlife as possible. Here you create memories for life! A place to stay that works and is interesting year-round! The author and artist Gunnar Brusewitz lived here and studied Tåkern and its nature in the spring of 1940. Bakery, café, pub and restaurant (Kafé på Skedet), Omberg, Heliga Hjärtas Monastery are only 2 km away.

Cabin for 3 people is located in Vadstena, 8.5 km from Vadstena Castle, and offers a patio, a garden, free WiFi and parking. The cottage has a patio and views of the fields and offers 1 room with living room, 1 equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer and 1 bathroom with toilet and shower. Duvet and pillow included. Bed linens and towels are available at an additional cost. Cleaning not included. The cottage is in an area where you can enjoy activities such as swimming, hiking, biking, fishing, golf, etc.

The cottage is located a stone's throw from the shore of Lake Vättern with Omberg as a backdrop and with the beautiful plain that spreads around Borghamn. We look forward to meeting 2025 with upcoming guests and please do not hesitate to look at the listing and contact me for any inquiries. This will be our 10th year as hosts of our cabin and we have met so many nice guests from near and far. Guests describe the area as beautiful and peaceful. Nearby, there is a stone industry that is in use.

Only 2 km away is Borghamn with, among other things, a country shop, Gyllenhammar's inn and a cozy harbor with nice swimming opportunities. Here you are close to Omberg, Ellen Key's beach, Alvastra Monastery Ruin, the bird lake Tåkern and Omberg Golf. 15 km north of Skedet is Vadstena, a small town with a lot of history, nice restaurants and nice little shops.

Willkommen in unserem kleinen Ferienhaus in Borghamn am Vättern! Hier finden zwei bis maximal vier Personen Platz für erholsame Ferien direkt am nördlichen Eingang zum Ecopark Omberg, einen Fußweg vom Vättern und dem Hafen von Borghamn entfernt, eine kurze Fahrt vom Vogelparadies Tåkern. Das Haus liegt in einem eigenen kleinen Garten und ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wander- und Fahrradtouren, für Badeausflüge und Entdeckungsreisen durch das geschichtsträchtige Östergötland.

Welcome to our Dalhem! Here you live in a charming 1920s villa with all the comforts. Enjoy the warming fireplace during the winter months or the evening sun in our large, lush garden with direct access to lovely Lake Vättern during the summer. 300 meters away there is a nice sandy beach and a few kilometers away a shop with all the essentials. During the summer, there is also a nice restaurant - Gyllenhammars - with fantastic locally produced food. Warm welcome!

Stay in Annex Sjövik, by the bird lake Tåkern

Spend the night or stay several nights in this peaceful accommodation next to Tåkern beach. Here you can relax while experiencing nature close by with a fantastic silence and views of the bird lake Tåkern. Here you live separately from our main house. In the summer, you can enjoy nature by staying on your own patio and cooking dinner on the grill.
