Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. In the reed beds, you can catch perch, roach, rudd and northern pike. You can go out on Lake Vänern with a plastic sheet, and if you’ve brought a kayak, it’s easy to launch. The plastic canoe is great for paddling, but it also has a motor. You need to bring your own clean petrol. You can swim from the pine-covered cliffs in the bay or out around the skerries and islands. Värmlandsnäs is located right in the middle of Sweden’s largest freshwater lake, Vänern, and is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including birds, deer and wild boar.

Private outdoor seating area with furniture and barbeque. Possibility to rent a wood-fired sauna at an extra cost. The cottage is 40 sqm + the loft. Not so big but nice! We offer newly renovated and nice accommodation in our farm house. 10 minutes from Karlstad and 25 minutes from Kristinehamn. Near the exit/entrance to E-18 and the county bus connection within walking distance. Animals and beautiful scenery are close at hand. There is access to swimming and fishing in both Lake Vänern and Gapern. For the golf enthusiast there are several golf courses at close quarters. In Väse a few miles away is Vilda parken where you can both skateboard and BMX.

Ta en paus och varva ner med en mysig vistelse på landet I april tar vi (Lisa och Daniel) över huset i Grän med tillhörande lägenhet på gården. Vi har lånat bilder från nuvarande ägare som under många år hyrt ut lägenheten via airbnb. Efter vår inflytt kommer vi möblera på ett likartat sätt. Vi hälsar gamla och nya gäster välkomna till oss!
