Downstairs there is a study/single bedroom, a large sitting room, large kitchen and bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. The indoor swimming pool is across a courtyard and is 10x5m. Guests are welcome to use the garden.There are free range hens, ducks and peacocks. Private parking. No smoking. EV charger available at cost of £0.55kWh.

Blackbirds Cottage is a detached spacious two bedroom both en-suite holiday home situated in the heart of Douglas valley, within a ten minute walk to the idyllic village of Parbold which has three country pubs, a wine bar and cafe. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife you’ll be sure of a relaxed, private and peaceful stay.

Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac adjacent to open farmland and the source of the River Alt, this self-contained flatlet comprise a double bedroom, lounge (with sofa-bed) and bathroom with in-bath shower on the upstairs floor over my downstairs home-office space. Un-shared access to the kitchen downstairs with fridge, cooker, microwave and kettle, utensils and crockery. Bus stop for buses to Liverpool and Merseyrail Station is just 300 yards up the road. Regret adults only and no pets.
