(nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), nearby with nice walking paths. Flea markets. Lovely nature outside the house for forest excursions or swimming and fishing.

Washing machine and dryer. In the garden, there are football goals, swings, barbecue and outdoor furniture. The house is located in a fantastic quiet and beautiful setting by the lake outside Nye where you have access to your own jetty and boat. Enjoy a boat ride and the view of the lake from the large deck. Just a few minutes away there is a swimming area, cafe and kiosk. Summer invites you to swim, fishing or boat excursions it is winter you can enjoy the tranquility at (or on) the ice. We are located in the Småland garden where the countryside has largely kept its character as you recognize from Astrid Lindgerns stories.

Drygt 15 minuter utanför Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby och ca 30 minuter från kuststaden Västervik finner ni denna plats med egen trädgård och strand (delas med värden). Utsikten mot sjön skapar förutsättningar för härliga naturupplevelser. Med sitt unika läge passar boendet både barnfamiljer och paret som vill rå om varandra. Med kanot (hyr av värden) kan du uppleva Kalmar Läns största sjö endast med paddeltagens ljud som hörs och få möjligheten att se fridlysta djur, alltifrån havsörn till utter.

Meet our lovely red cottage in Småland surrounded by forest, hills and lakes. With all the comfort you need for a pleasant stay. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood stove. The house has a big private garden where you can relax and make a campfire at the fire pit. Go fishing or take a swim in one of the lakes nearby. With a bit of luck you see deer and foxes from our sunny porch. Go skiing at the ski-slope, visit a moose park or go down the zippline. From April to October we rent out 2 kayaks.

The Drängstugan in Mariannelund

Welcome to Drängstugan! A charming, tastefully renovated house with a lot of space, in the middle of the Småland forest, 7 km from Mariannelund. Similar to the farmhouse Emil's friend Alfred lived in, but much more modern inside 😁 It is a large leafy plot that is shared with the host's house. Nice to just enjoy the house, sit by the patio or walk in the forest. A bit away along the gravel road, you have magnificent views.
