Emerald Cottage was featured on HGTV's House Hunters in October 2023! The Cottage is a 2 bedroom (queen bed), 1 bath with a quaint sun porch (bedroom 2) which provides ceiling to floor windows, has a daybed with trundle which sleeps 2, and a beautiful water view. The living room couch makes out into small a bed. Bathroom has large Calcatta marble shower and a full sized washer & dryer are included as well! 5 CABINS AVAILABLE: We can sleep 34 in beds! Located on the beautiful Caddo Lake tucked away in the quiet wooded cove of Buzzard Bay in the middle of the Big Lake. This spacious, one of a kind cabin is located at Buzzard Bay Landing and RV Park in Karnack, Texas right next to the Texas/Louisiana border. The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
