Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Kyoto Seifu-an is a private accommodation in a Kyomachiya house, located a short distance from the Shirakawa River in Higashiyama Sanjo. Also, the alley in front has little traffic, very quiet, and you can spend plenty of relaxing time. Kyoto Seifu-an is a 4-minute walk from Higashiyama Station on the Tozai Subway Line, where you can walk to nearby temples, walk to Heian Shrine, Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizu Temple, and Gion. It is also close to Sakadokoro Fushimi, Uji no Heidain, Inari Taisha Shrine, Yasaka no Iwashimizu Yasaka Shrine, 30 minutes to Nara, and is perfect for sightseeing in southern Kyoto.
