Kashiwa City is a terminal city that lies at the boundary between urban and rural Japan. The area around the station is bustling with buildings, giving it a vibrant atmosphere, but just a short walk away, you can find scenic rural landscapes, making it a city with a unique charm. It takes about 30 minutes by JR Joban Line from Kashiwa Station to Ueno Station, making it very accessible to Tokyo. From Narita Airport or Haneda Airport, it takes about 1 hour by train to reach Kashiwa Station.
