Quiet designer Kyoto town house hostel with cafe. A great value Kyoto trip
A popular facility that has been selected as a "Recommended Accommodation".The owner changed in October 2025.We will expand our services with a friendly, all-Japanese staff. * Modern new construction in 2018!! Kyomachiya = traditional wooden architectural style of Kyoto. It has a long floor plan and lattice windows, and you can feel the taste of Japan. It is a calm and warm space, while incorporating modern comforts. * Sightseeing spots are within walking distance!! Popular Kyoto Station, Shijo and Gion areas are also within walking distance. It is convenient for sightseeing spots in the prefecture. * Safe capsule bed!! While in a hostel format, each bed has a capsule + curtain.Unlike dormitory-style accommodation without wall partitions, you can enjoy a comfortable stay while maintaining your privacy, even if you are travelling alone. * A variety of lounge experiences!! In addition to popular cafes, bars, and food menus, movie watching, remote work, and interaction between travellers are also popular.Events are held irregularly. WGJ is committed to putting guests first and aims to be the most welcoming and hospitable facility in Japan.
