A quiet luxury getaway

The Cider House is a converted barn tucked away in the village of Pilton, Somerset. It is a large airy and light space. It has a private courtyard and garden, 24 hour under floor heating and hot water. There is a top quality superking bed, excellent for having sleeps in, with hand pressed sheets. To augment heat there's a wood burning stove. We supply and lay a first fire for you with enough logs to get it going after which you can purchase a sack of seasoned logs from us for £10.00 a bag.

This hidden gem is ideally placed to enjoy all that Wells has to offer and makes the perfect place to relax & unwind.

Picturesque cottage in the heart of Somerset

Our cottage, set in the grounds of our home, is close to the cities of Bath and Wells as well as Bristol airport, Castle Cary station, Glastonbury, Bath and West show, Babington House and several schools including Downside, All Hallows , Wells Cathedral and Millfield . We are situated on the edge of the Mendip hills just a walk away. The cottage is full of character and laid out over three floors. My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).

Orchard Cottage

A beautifully converted barn with a contemporary feel next to a 17th century cider house set in the middle of 12 acres of gardens and ancient orchards. Ideal for those who enjoy modern comforts and luxurious touches such as 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding, top quality feather pillows (with hypo-allergenic pillows on request) and bathrobes combined with the peace of the beautiful Somerset countryside. Perfect for dog lovers, with great walks from the house and in the grounds.

Sheptopia your Shepton sanctuary

Deceptively spacious and located in the peaceful heart of historic Shepton Mallet, we are offering our home for visitors and Somerset explorers. Set out over three floors, the house provides a comfortable base to explore the area. Pilton and the Glastonbury Festival site is just a 10 minute drive away, the Bath & West showground is also close by. Free on-street parking directly outside, where the River Sheppey passes behind. Shops, restaurants and pubs are all within easy walking distance.

The Annexe

The Annexe is a comfortable, spacious and versatile place to stay with its own separate entrance. Suitable for 4 people, the double bed can be split into two singles and the singles in the second room are of the narrow kind. The bathroom is excellent and there is a fridge, kettle and toaster for making breakfasts and drinks. There is free off road parking, friendly neighbours and you won't be disturbed. Close to Glastonbury (10mi), Wells (6mi) and the Royal Bath and West Showground (2mi)

Beautiful and lovingly renovated Coach House in the heart of Pilton village, set in the lush private grounds of our family home. Two double bedrooms, one with free-standing roll top bath (option to add an extra bed/cot for a child); shower room; large open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room, with two sets of double doors leading to a private outdoor dining terrace (with BBQ & fire pit); view and shared use of our paddock with rope swing, baby swing and trampoline for children.

A former part of Mendip Hospital, the cottage is full of charm and character, with art work and vintage furnishings throughout. The combination of visual drama with comfort and convenience makes Easel Cottage the ideal setting in which to explore the Mendips. A treat of a retreat from city life.

Rookham View Lodge is located on a smallholding on top of the Mendips overlooking Wells. Relax on the patio, catch a view of the Red Kite soaring high, or visit the sheep, ponies, goats, ducks and chickens in the surrounding field. Get active on the many footpaths leading from our property, gently cycle the Somerset levels or try the more challenging rides on the Mendip Hills. Active or relaxing - we guarantee you will enjoy the view from our Lodge at the end of your day.
