Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

The River House

Come explore the great outdoors when you stay at the river house and enjoy the quiet as you look over the South Loup River Valley. There is river access for all kinds of water fun from tubing, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. You can enjoy evening sunsets out on the covered front porch or setup your telescope for some amazing star gazing with no light pollution. The fiber optic connection makes it easy to use your smart devices for entertainment or setup a mobile office to work remotely.

Crane season hot spot! The apartment is located inside a newly constructed shed. It has one bedroom, one bath (shower only, no tub), and a large living room and kitchen with all appliances (no dishwasher). A private pond is located in the pasture outside of the shed for quiet nights relaxing and fishing. It is the perfect setting for nature and bird watching! We do allow pets for a $25 fee. There is a very friendly farm dog on the property, so take note if this will be an issue for you.

The duplex will comfortably sleep four (4) adults with potential for one (1) additional guest. No more than 5 guests allowed at any one time. NO PETS. NO SMOKING! NO PARTIES! This cozy cabin is located 5 minutes from downtown Kearney. It sits on the Platte River with an incredible view of the Nebraska sunrises and sunsets. It has a nice fishing lake stocked with bass, crappie, blue gill and catfish. The fishing lake is directly outside the cabin. This cabin is furnished with leather furniture, cable tv, a queen size bed, a double size bed and A/C.

Gibbon is one of the premier towns in the country to watch the Sandhill Cranes migration and is home to one of the largest traveled railways by the Union Pacific.
