In the forest, on a riverbank just steps from the water, I present to you my dream home. A small cabin for 4 people, a great space for those who like to be isolated from the world. On the terrain around there is a shower in the middle of the tree canopies, a tank, and a barbecue. It is a sustainable house, the electricity comes exclusively from solar energy, and the water from a hole, not being unlimited but sufficient for everyday life. A simple place in harmony with nature.

Relax in this unique and quiet getaway in Castelo de Bode, overlooking the countryside and the dam. Outside, there is a magnificent terrace, a swimming pool and living and dining areas. There is also a barbecue to enjoy delicious outdoor meals. (Alojamento Local 1945) Our lovely stone house is perfectly situated in the Ribatejan countryside a stone throw away from Castelo do Bode - one of the biggest lakes in Portugal. You can walk to the lake and be splashing about in less than 5 minutes. It is incredibly peaceful and we always come away from the house with our batteries totally recharged.
