Home is within Chula Beach Resort in Luanda Rombo (Rusinga) in a beautiful quiet and serene compound that gives the feeling of a homestead but with modern and clean finishes. You can order local and very delicious food (including breakfast) within the compound. The compound stretches to the lake so you can enjoy a beautiful and relaxing view anytime. A small bar is also available within the compound so you can order some drinks. No loud noises though, only calm Rhumba/ Benga music is played.

On the island you will find mainly small farms with the families living either in the traditional mud huts or more modern brick houses. Several small villages are spread around the island, Kolunga Beach being the closest.
