The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

You can also settle here for a longer period of time, for example, for work or study days. Peaceful surroundings and jogging terrains right next door, as well as K-market. Bus route nearby.
