Take a relaxing walk from the door of ‘Ivydene’ through the village to Scalby Beck. Enjoy the level walk along the waterside that takes you into the National Park. A paradise for dog walkers, bird watchers and photographers as abundant wildlife, Herons & Kingfishers can often be seen. On the way home purchase a magazine from the village shop to read & relax in the peaceful garden. Enjoy lunch at the Yew Tree Café & Bistro and book a table for supper at The Plough – both have dog friendly tables!

Situated in a quiet part of Scalby village within easy walking distance of the village pubs, cafe and the town’s rugby club which has a gym bar cafe and restaurant. Scalby is on the north side of Scarborough with easy access to Whitby, Pickering and other villages. The old cinder track is also very close by ideal for walking or cycling on. Scarborough has two lovely beaches, theatres, miniature railway and lots of other attractions.
