We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

We are located in the quiet, rural area of the Rusland Valley within driving distance of all scenic areas including Grizedale, Coniston, Ambleside & Windermere, and are surrounded by fields and woodland providing a fantastic location for cycling and walking holidays.

Fancy getting away from it all? Then you have found the right place. A little piece of paradise on earth with uninterrupted views of Grizedale woodland. I only book guests with previous good reviews (at least 2). No pets allowed. Maximum of 6 people (including infants). Please note the location is REMOTE, no shops are near (25 min drive to Co-op in Hawkshead), but there is a pub 5 min drive away in Satterthwaite. You are not far from Grizedale Centre, Coniston or Windermere.

Rusland Retreat is on the first floor of a barn conversion nestled in an elevated position in the hamlet of Oxen Park, in the beautiful Rusland Valley. The accommodation is perfect for a luxurious romantic retreat or as a base for outdoor activities. With immediate access to walking and cycling and an abundance of wildlife. Situated within the Lake District National Park, we are an easy 10 minute drive to Coniston Water and 15 minutes to Windermere.

Unique, 3 bedroom, ex-forester's cottage in the idyllic, small village of Satterthwaite, within Grizedale Forest Park. Ideal for those seeking the thrill of mountain biking or the peaceful, quiet enjoyment of the stunningly beautiful area and dark skies. There is free parking for two vehicles and undercover storage for several bicycles. The Eagles Head pub is a short walk away. Hawkshead village, 4 miles away, has a Coop, shops and pubs.

Set in the fabulous Woodland valley close to Coniston. Stable croft Cottage is the perfect place to relax, & explore the Lake District National Park . With 1 double bedroom, bathroom, a comfortable living room & a fully equipped kitchen. Stuart & Lynda live next door and are happy to help with any queries. We look forward to welcoming you.
