The village is an ideal place to stay in County Durham with Durham City only a 15 minute drive and Newcastle a 30 minute drive where you will discover stunning architecture, shopping centres and restaurants galore.

Dreamers hut is a two double bedroom Shepards hut in its own private woodlands. The rooms offer a cosy cottage feel. Each bedroom is finished to a high standard with woodland views, a luxury double mattress & quality bed linen. Towels and bath robes are provided during your stay. Dreamers hut is in its own private woodlands with a large wood burning sauna, firepit, seating area & 5 person hot tub. Ivesley Cottage. The cottage is a two bedroom mid terrace property sleeping 4 people. It has an open planned dining/lounge with a log effect burner for cosy nights, a well equipped fitted kitchen, separate utility, a fully fitted bathroom (over bath shower), oil central heating, double glazed windows and composite outer doors. There is car parking to the front & private drive for 2 cars at the rear of the property, a block paved yard and a large garden with patio seating area.

We have recently updated our Dairy cottage, by fitting an new kitchen and new windows ! Our Dairy cottage has a double room and a twin room, a modern bathroom, and a cosy living/dining/kitchen area with Smart TV and a wood burning stove ----- the stove is just for fun, there is gas central heating as well to keep it toasty warm. Set on a working sheep farm, the cottage is a great base for local attractions like Beamish Museum, Durham and Hadrian's wall.

Stow House Farm Cottages, Ivy Cottage

Ivy Cottage is a lovely two bedroom cottage on a rural farm 20 minutes drive from historic Durham. This pretty little cottage comfortably sleeps four guests and has been converted from the farm’s old tractor barn. For those wanting to holiday in larger groups we also have Cornmill Cottage and Bramble Cottage next door which sleep 6 and 3 guests respectively. Beaufront Hill Head

Built in 1780, this thick -walled cosy cottage has historic charm with modern comforts. South facing with stone walled garden, from which you can survey a spectacular view 20 miles deep and 35 miles wide over the Tyne valley. The cottage is at 700 feet above sea level and you feel you are on the roof of England. It is situated in a quiet rural location 2 miles from both Hexham and Corbridge and half an hour from Newcastle.
