Juliabuda is located in Haugsbygda on Gurskøya. Juliabuda was built in the 1860s, and we can offer an atmospheric stay in this authentic seaside cottage where there has been a herring salting plant, a post office and a shop. Sjøbuda has a jetty where you can go boating or enjoy the view of the fjord and the islands in the strait. The area has many beautiful excursion areas both by the fjord and on mountain heights at 600-700 metres above sea level, with both easy and more difficult terrain. This is the advertisement for the smallest of two apartments in Juliabuda.

Great place to vacation both in glorious summer weather and in autumn storms. A stone's throw to the shore and small boat harbor, and a few minutes walk to Hakallegarden visitor farm (check websites), and the beach Sandviksanden. The Hakalle staircase is located right above the cabin, and gives amazing views of the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Approximately 300 meters to the grocery store with everything you need. Fugleøya Runde - cozy older farmhouse

The house is located at the end of Goksøyra with easy access to mountains and fjær. Only 30 min. walk to Fuglefjellet. It has been recently gently refurbished inside. The bathroom is brand new and is on the 1st floor. It is laid out with 6 sleeping places, but may be best suited for 4 people(2 double rooms). The third bedroom has 2 single beds. The stairs up to the bedrooms are steep. Screened patio and own garden. It takes 25 minutes to drive to the municipal center Fosnavåg.

Surrounded by the Sunnmørsalpene, between Ørsta and Ålesund lies this unique waterfront house. A perfect starting point for mountain hiking and other attractions in Sunnmøre. Within an hour or two you can reach famous places such as Geiranger, Åndalsnes, Loen and the amazing bird island Runde. The Atlantic Park in Ålesund is also worth a visit. In Ørsta, 20 min. away, there are plenty of shops and restaurants.

Edel House on Runde - by the path to Lundeura

Edel House is the oldest house in Goksøyr, and situated on the path to the mountain and birdrocks. It is built in 1816, so we can describe the house as a grand old lady, who like all elderly personages, has her quirks and personality, and we hope that you our guests will look upon these with mild friendly eyes and a holiday spirit.

Nice boathouse by the waterfront.

My boathouse is as close as you can get to the waterfront. It is built in a navy style with lots of antique items from a former career at sea. I believe it has what is needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday on a quiet Island on the norwegian westcoast.
