You have walking distance to Saltö Nature Reserve with nice sandy beaches and hiking trails. On Tjärnö, you can go to the beach Svallhagen, which has an old stone pier, good for crab fishing. You can also go to Bofors camping, where there is a swimming jetty and a Bistro.

The cottage is equipped with: one bedroom (double bed 160 cm), a kitchen/living room, newly renovated bathroom, a veranda. A bunk bed (2x80 cm) in the log cabin. Guests bring their own bed linens/towels and clean after themselves. This is in place: toilet paper, soap, kitchen towel, dishwasher detergent, washing machine detergent, TV with Chromecast. Near the beach, you have easy access to beautiful shores and crystal-clear waters. Explore the amazing nature of Kosterhavet National Park with its rich marine life and scenic landscapes. If more space is needed, you can also rent the apartment in the basement.

The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.
