Cosy single in Galway City in a quiet cul de sac only ten minutes walk from the city centre and five minutes from the hospital and university.
“Catherine and Mick have a great place and she obliged with a request for early check-in. I stayed in the single bedroom. I had the room during a cold rainy week, but it was warm and cozy through out. The location was perfect for me, right next to University hospital Galway. Bathroom was clean and warm with daily supplies of toiletries and towels. They had an amazing spread for breakfast to set you off for the day. Catherine and Mick are a nice couple. It didn't feel like a stay in a BnB, but it was a homely experience to me. The days I stayed with them were of great personal significance to us and it was a pleasure sharing our joy with you.”
We have two spacious, clean and cosy doubles and one single room in a safe and quiet cul de sac just ten minutes walk from the heart of Galway`s medieval city. We love to travel ourselves and meeting travelers are the next best thing !!!
“Caroline and Mick were so accommodating from offering a driveway car space to providing an incredible breakfast spread! The house was warm, the bed was so cosy and bathroom spotless. You are provided with bottled water and toiletries. Toilet/bath/shower facilities are shared with other guests so do be mindful. On arrival, Caroline sat us down with lovely tea and scones after our journey and with a large map drew locations to eat, walk, explore and local farmers market info. You are 5-10 mins walk to the centre! Bars, restaurants and 'The Craic' are close enough to reach but far away enough to enjoy peace and quiet back home. Will return again most certainly!”
Situated between The G hotel and The Galmont ' formerly The Raddisson' and overlooking the Salt Lake of Lough Atalia, our cosy 2 bedroomed detached cottage is 10 min walk, 2 mins on Bus to City Centre, Eyre Square. It contains everything you need for a comfortable stay. Private parking incl. at rear of the Cottage..
“The cottage is like a home away from home. I stayed here for 4-weeks & it was the perfect location to explore Galway City & the Connemara area. Nora was only a message away if anything was needed. I’d highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Galway. Off street parking was to rear of house & very spacious. There was a playground right across the road & beside that access to rent city bikes. All in all a great spot for any staycation 👍”
