Welcome to Piilopirtti, an atmospheric log cabin on the Arctic Circle, on the shores of Lake Kemijärvi, just 7 km from Suomutunturi. The cottage is located on a large plot of land and has spacious views of the lake and the surrounding landscape. From the village you can take the ferry to a beautiful sandy beach. The starting point of the ski trails is 2 km away, but you can go straight from the yard to the lake ice to ski. For fishermen, Lake Kemijärvi offers abundant catches. Cloudberries, blueberries and lingonberries are waiting for pickers right at the corner of the cabin.

Pölökkylä - A wilderness cabin on the shore of a lake

Located on the shores of a beautiful and clean lake, this log cabin is perfect for those who love nature and want to spend their vacation relaxing without any neighbors. There's a boat on the beach of the cottage. The cottage and sauna are heated with wood. The fridge and stove run on gas. Domestic water is carried from the lake and the water is heated in the water tank of the sauna stove. Electricity is provided by solar panels. There is an outdoor toilet in the yard. During the winter season, solar panels are not in use.

Surrounded by clean and quiet nature, Rokovan Helmi is a perfect hideaway for a group of 2 to 4. The cabin is built in 2019 and is designed by a local company Kuusamo Log Houses. It's a perfect fit for people who love their own peace in a modern environment, yet want all the services to be close at the same time. The cabin is a 6 minute car ride from the nearest East Ruka ski lifts and a 12 minute car ride from Ruka village services. Ski, snowmobil and outdoor trails can be found right nearby.

Ski cottage in Sallatunturi

Well-equipped, centrally located, an atmospheric slope cottage in Sallatunturi. Walking takes you to ski trails and slopes in winter and national park trails in summer. Peaceful own yard and beautiful scenery. Great for families. A smart TV with Genelec sound system, 5G-WiFi, and atmospheric fireplace ensure a relaxing getaway. From the sauna, you can cool off to the terrace, from where you may see the Northern Lights dancing in the sky.

Rukatunturi Moisashenry

Cozy cottage near by Ruka (5km). Only three semi-detached houses in the same area. The nearest grocery store (Sale market) is 3 km away. Linens (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase) and towels are not included in the rent, they must be brought to the cottage yourself. Or you can rent them from me for an extra fee €25/person. Toilet paper and paper towels are available at the cottage. The rental includes 1 bag of firewood.

A quiet log cabin right next to the Sallatunturi ski resort. The second cottage (B) of the semi-detached property, however, the cottages are separate from each other so your own peace is guaranteed! Typical Finnish house, warm and bright with sauna. Unique and quiet accommodation, just 20 km from the Ruka ski area and at the gates of the Oulanka National Park which covers 290 km² of nature, boreal forests and wild rivers. Possibility of fishing, berries, mushrooms and hiking. The rent includes the use of a rowing boat. During the hunting season is also rented out to hunters.
