From the accommodation, you can walk to the center of the castle town, such as Usuki Castle Ruins, Hachimachi Oji, and Nioza Historical Road, in about 10 minutes. You can also enjoy a stroll while feeling the history and local cuisine. Nearby areas include Sagaseki-cho, famous for its horse mackerel and mackerel, Tsukumi, where you can eat kabosu, amberjack, and Bungo tuna, and Saiki, famous for its seafood, all easily accessible by car or train. The house was built in 2005 but the first floor was partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic ocean views. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress if needed (not super comfy). The house is in a residential area so refrain from making loud noise especially after dark. Being surrounded by nature near the ocean, you may occasionally encounter seasonal insects outdoors, particularly around lights at night.
