Escape to the forest! This remote, off-grid cabin is nestled deep in national forest. Perfect for 2 guests + 1 well-behaved pet. Surrounded by hiking trails, a stream, and a peaceful pond, it’s a glamping-style retreat for those craving true solitude. 4WD is required to access the rugged road. Not ideal for frequent trips in and out—come to unplug, explore, and connect with nature. No nearby towns, just trees, trails, and tranquility. Enjoy the nearby Rainbow Trail or Brush Creek Lakes.

Glass Deckhouse - North: National Forest Cabin

A wonderful modern tiny cabin with views high up over the rocky mountains. Each side (north & south) has floor to ceiling windows on both sides which open a view over a valley of forest. Each side is private (no shared walls) but patio is shared. There's no bathroom in the deckhouse but we recently added a bathroom ~1 min down the hill in addition to primary bath house. Secluded by national forest on 3 sides but <15 mins to downtown Salida, CO. We'd love to have you.

We own 36 acres, including Round Hill, with amazing mountain views all around. We are backed up to National Forest and BLM land. We're located two miles south of Poncha Pass Summit. Only 15-20 minutes to downtown Salida and 30 minutes to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. We have a fire pit and propane grill outside the entryway.
