Tel: 081 416 541 – A traditional Neapolitan restaurant – Franco's sister, Antonietta is the owner and the cook at this small restaurant, with an open kitchen, traditional checked tablecloths, walls covered with beautiful coloured tiles, and traditional Neapolitan cuisine. The genovese pasta (with caramelized onion and strands of stewed beef) is my favourite. Prices are €25-30 per person with house wine.

Tel: 081 442 136 – For fried pizza and traditional street food – Tiny locale, you eat standing at high tables just outside the room in front of Piazza Plebiscito. Soft pizza with high-quality ingredients: whole-grain flour, buffalo ricotta, San Marzano tomatoes DOP. Open kitchen – you can watch the expert pizza chefs in action! If you want to eat while walking on the street, I recommend ordering a "calzone fritto", a pizza that has been folded over itself and fried, and is easy to hold in your hand. I go crazy for the one with ricotta and salami: excellent, fragrant and tasty!

Roberto, with his kindness and expertise, will guide you in your selection of the best products, and can certainly recommend great buffalo mozzarella cheese.
