Check out the Sunset at Menemsha. This nightly event is truly a spectacle, not just for the beautiful sunset over the Elizabeth islands, but for the scores of onlookers in the high summer months. Feel free to bring dinner and drinks to the beach and get your spot early. Parking can be very hard during the summer so consider the park n ride lot from Tabor House Road.

This is a nice large store, but you have to drive all the way to Edgartown, but if you are staying for awhile it might be worth the trip for good selection and to beat the prices at Cronigs.
