The park preserves and showcases symbols/artwork in the stone made by ancient cultures. Parts of it are also peaceful places to explore out in the desert. Fall through early spring are best to visit.

This is one of my favorite places to bring people. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities on the continent. Built on top of a mesa for defensive purposes. There is nothing else like it. You do need to go up on a guided tour, which depart hourly.
