Definitely a tourist (and local) destination. Stunning views of the ocean and surf.
Please head the signs to stay off the rocks. Fatalities unfortunately do occur.

Small yet awesome beach on shore club road in Hubbards. Access is private and requires a fee per car (10$ I believe), but it's worth the fee to enjoy some of the benefits. It's short walk back up the access road to grab a bite at the canteen that offers an extensive menu, and amazing ice cream!
Oh!, and it's currently the main shooting location of the series "Moonshine".

A bit out of the way but one of the loveliest beaches in Nova Scotia. Definitely worth the trip if you're a beach person.

If you're looking for upscale dining, you can't go wrong at Cut. I've not been there often ( it's quite expensive) but I've thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks, and service.

I have not personally gone here yet. It's upscale dining, and is a restaurant that I frequently transport clients to. I am told it's very very good, and since they keep going back, I'll take their word on it!

I honestly can't vouch for the food, but I really really enjoy their beer! Plus they're located next to pier 21, and Tomavinos (who makes really good pizzas!).

hiking trails
I recommend downloading the free version of the AllTrails app. The maps are quite accurate, and can show you hard to find connectors. There are some trails near the cottage that are not on the map, and I am happy to give you direction. The trail closest to the cottage is not listed, and a bit more challenging as the terrain is a bit rough. I am happy to give you direction.

Road is located a 2 minute drive from the cottage. Great spot for exploring the lakes and few trails close to the cottage. The road is a bit rough. Great for ATVs, fishing, berry picking, and exploring.
