Lovely pub very near south park. This has a small cinema upstairs on a thursday, saturday and sunday evening, which shows great films new and old. Take your bottle of wine or pint of local brew and settle in the comfy seats for a 'night-in' out! www.park-tavern.co.uk for listings of films.

Situated upstairs in the Heritage Centre is a small one screen cinema showing current films. It has an old theatre feel to it including theatre style seats. A bar is open before the film starts serving beer, wine, soft drinks and there is a small stand near the ticket desk to purchase popcorn and sweets etc.

Parks & Nature

Teggs nose is a lovely hill just by Macclesfield forest, quite a walk to the top but all on good paths and steps. There is a cafe at the top so you can put back the calories. On a nice day you can see over to Manchester, Derbyshire and also see Jodrell Bank Telescope.

Within a 5 minute drive you are out in glorious countryside and Macclesfield Forest. Some great walks to get the heart pumping. Very hilly and a favourite for Mountain bikers. At the weekend near the Rangers office there is a food van (the forest snug) which serves bacon butties, local oatcakes and home made cakes all produce is locally sourced and served freshly cooked.
