This magnificent Cathedral has stood in Chichester for over 900 years. The cathedral is open every day and entry is free. Medieval features sit alongside contemporary works of art. The Bishop's palace gardens are lovely in the summer - great for a quiet picnic - not everyone finds them. The cathedral is in the town centre and definitely worth a trip if you are visiting the shops.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is held here each year and is a short drive from The Cowshed. The Goodwood Revival is also held here each year - if you are thinking of attending either event you need to book tickets in advance. Chichester is very busy during these events - but is also very good fun with a fantastic atmosphere. If you are attending The Revival for the first time I would recommend you google the outfits! Visitors really "go to town" with their outfits which makes it feel like you have gone back in time!

A lively restaurant and bar area. During summer 2017 there has been a DJ in the garden on a Saturday night. Cocktails and garden area as well as indoor restaurant. They serve a pre-theatre menu, including matinee performances - about a 5 minute stroll from the Festival Theatre. (It's not normally lively at pre-theatre times!)
