This is my favorite place for breakfast, and it's super close to my house! The atmosphere is also wonderful. They have gluten free and vegetarian options for a diverse group of eaters.

It is a popular swimming destination in the heat of the summer because of its central location and the fact that it is free. In addition, One Mile offers picnic and barbecue facilities and a large grassy area, making for a great combination for summertime gatherings with a safe place to cool off. This is right across the street from my house! I am so fortunate to live so close to such a beautiful place. The serene creek and trees will awe you. There are many trails throughout this municipal park (3rd largest in California). There are several day camp areas with BBQs as well (in the lower park). Upper park has some absolutely breathtaking scenes the further you hike or mountain bike in. Don't miss it!

Lower Bidwell Park
