Northerners swear by this Italian food place. Small and quaint, but stays very busy especially during season. It’s nice and close to home, if you just wanna pick something up to take home. If you like Sicilian style pizza, I hear it’s one of the best choices around. Thin crust with just the right amount of sauce.

Always something going on there. Local musicians play there a lot, and the view of the intercoastal there at dusk is outstanding.

It takes a water taxi to get there. I enjoy going during the afternoon so before or after your meal you can see the gulf from a different view. Taxi ride starts around 11 is $3 per person and will bring you back, it’s is only for restaurant visitors. No cars are allowed on the island for anyone but residents.

Everyone should go there at least once when visiting the area, don’t go just for the food, enjoy the beach bar after or during your beach visit. You never know what you’re gonna get from an entertainment perspective, but the drinks are good and the people watching can be outstanding!

If you’re looking for a good pizza place with good beer choices this is your place. They have recently moved to a new building in Punta Gorda, so it’s a bit of a drive but well worth it.Hand tossed pizza you can watch being thrown and a friendly atmosphere.
