Mae is married to the local sign writer so visiting Mae's Kitchen is an experience. While getting some freshly made (huge) dumplings you can get a caricature of yourself or a friend if you bring in a photo. The chinese chive dumplings are our fave.

Parks & Nature

Tiddy Widdy Beach is a 500m walk. We typically walk down, the steep Murray Street but then walk up the other street to the left Gordon Street back. It’s a longer walk back but not as steep.

Famous for fishing and surfing. Bushwalking is a great way to discover the park, with trails ranging from 30-minute strolls to four-hour treks. You’ll spot an abundance of birds and animals while you catch some of the best coastal views in South Australia. All of the park is accessible by 2WD, so it’s perfect for day visits and a paradise for beach lovers. There is something for everyone at Innes. Visit one of the lighthouses and the shipwreck of the Ethel to learn about the tumultuous maritime history of South Australia. https://www.environment.sa.gov.au/parks/find-a-park/Browse_by_region/Yorke_Peninsula/innes-national-park

Sightseeing

The original jetty was constructed in 1878 to accommodate the steamships and windjammers used to ship grain. There was even a ship that went from Adelaide to Ardrossan on day trips. Today this jetty forms a major attraction to anglers and is full of black stains...the sign of a good squidding spot!
