This is a typical Hong Kong style restaurant/bakery. If you happen to wake up early and don't want any western breakfast, a bowl of Chinese preserve eggs and pork congee with a plate of stir fried noodle might be your pick! I like the fact that they open early in the morning, I think at 8am? I like their baked pork chop rice with tomato sauce as well. Their Milk Tea or Lemon tea are the best!

One of the best Chinese restaurants at Chinatown BUT service is so so, long line-up often and sometimes have to share table with others. But I think they have the freshest seafood and some interesting cantonese dishes that other chinese restaurant don't offer.

Little Old Greek restaurant situates in a residential area. I love their Steak with Caesar Salad! THEIR FRIED CALAMARIS IS A MUST !!!!! I always order a plate of tzatziki sauce to go with it or you can simple go with their house sauce! Their chicken is good too, I don't remember the exact name but it's new and it's like half chicken grilled on charcoal.

Very delicious Caesar Salad! I'm a big lover of Caesar salad and I always ask them for an extra portion of Caesar sauce on the side. The chicken is so soft and tender! They have very good pasta too! Very good Pizza! Open until 4 or 5am and very good choice for delivery! Just steps away from Concordia University and Guy Metro which also locates on the green line and only 4 stations from St-Laurent metro station!

Very good Bubble Tea! This one is located in Chinatown but there's also one on Parc avenue, Ste-Catherine(Between St-marc and St-Mathieu), Atwater metro station. I love their Roasted Milk Tea with Grass Jelly!!! The Chinatown store is not open early in the morning but only from noon so be careful if you want something there in the morning! Sometimes long line-ups during summer!

If you happen to have a car, and close by Hwy 40/Decarie, it is always a good choice. Breakfasts are $1 each and for a couple, you will be stuffed at $25. But it is at a high traffic area so I don't recommend to go there on purpose during the weekdays after 2pm as traffic starts to accumulate.

If you are in town for a business meeting or simply a casual date with your love one, this Keg restaurant might be a good choice for you. One side is a bar and the rest of the room is for dining. I love their 32oz steak. Don't remember the name but it's so tender and juicy! You must try their mashed potato or 'Palate Gratiné' with cream cheese and all. Their appetizers are very good too! I always order the garlic snails, Mushroom Neptune and Garlic shrimp. The little bread that comes with it is so good if you deep in into the butter sauce that remains in the plate! The service is very good there as I always mention to them that my mother is allergic to Shrimp and Lobster and the waiter always makes sure to have his/her supervisor to come and explain to us to not worry as my mom's plate will be cooked separate.

One of the new places that I felt in Love with!!! It is situated on the 44th floor of Place Ville Marie 1. (There are many entrance, but at night after office hours, go to the side door on Robert-Bourassa and it's own top of RBC) It's a 360 deg. - 90 deg.(the one side wall) = 270 degree no hide view from the 44th floor in the middle of the city! Before or after dinner, you can also buy the package to go upstairs for he City View! I liked their Meat sauce cheese macaroni but it's a bit too oily. Their ribs are good too! The feel is excellent! It's a bit loud with the music and you need to talk a bit louder so your friends can hear you but it's alright, you'll be amazed by the night view! We went on a friday night at 9 and we still waited for 45 minutes so RESERVATION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The fanciest Korean restaurant in the whole town! The owner Vince is Super nice! You know, like those very nice Oppa from those korean dramas lol I love their Bulgogi but the Soup version. Usually in other restaurants, they will stir fry it with veggie but this soup version is so interesting! The basement is complete different cuisine as it tends to be more like bistro food. Excellent location for business lunch or dinner. Talk to the owner Vince!

Shopping

If you happen to have a car and willing to drive 40 minutes from my place, then this is the perfect place. All stores are located outside as an outdoor outlet. NOT RECOMMENDED during peak hours during the week, you can be stuck in traffic for HOURS getting there and getting back. Go there early during the day, or no later than 2pm and come back after 7pm during the week. The food court doesn't have much choices, a not-too-authentic chinese fast food counter, a so-not-authentic japanese fast food counter, a Pianizza counter that sells panini and pizzas, last but not least, an A&W !!! (If I remember well, there should be a souvlaki place too) If you're heading to the states later, then I recommend you leave your purchases to be done in the States since the sales taxes in Quebec are the HIGHEST, which is 15%. Therefore for the same product, at the same price, you will be paying less in the States or other provinces because their taxes rate are lower too.
