Drinks & Nightlife

Loveliest neighborhood wine shop. These guys will work with you forever and let you taste wines and find your perfect bottle. You can also hang there and drink beer and wine for a chill night. I like to bring my book and have a glass after work. :)

Ok, this place technically is a restaurant but most ppl don't go for the food (heavy Italian fare- not terrible), they go for the dark, seedy interiors and live jazz music. It's a secret hipster spot that is a secret hang out for some celebs not wanting to be noticed. You're welcome!

It's a Pin-Ball bar filled with Pin-ball machines. Unfortunately, no kids are allowed but it's a fun hang out joint for adults.

The tap selections are vast (over 22) and a spacious beer garden out back is a great spot for a secluded date or a group of friends. On your way out, hit one of the food trucks outside the bar for some cheap, cheesy Mexican food that will satisfy a late-night hankering.

The neighborhood coffee joint when you just don't want to see another Starbucks- not that we don't also love Starbucks! There is a cute little area in the back for kids which is nice bonus for families.

Go to the end of Wollam Street (two blocks north of Bridgeport) to find the base of this secret hike. At the second crossroads, were left to the top of Mt. Washington- you'll end up in a little neighborhood and keep going up until you hit the Self Realization Temple and explore their gorgeous gardens- don't worry people are welcome to wander quietly around and will be left unbothered. The hike isn't really a loop so you'll have to head back the way you came or just keep exploring and pop out in another neighborhood and enjoy the adventure from this little hidden canyon park.
