These burritos are simply the best in Toronto, and only a 6-minute walk away. Be careful of the hot sauce; they make it in-house, and it is blisteringly good. Surprisingly, there's usually only one other customer in there.

Like yummy Mediterranean food AND cheap prices AND expediency? Head to Ghazele. Two tasty falafel wraps for $8. If you don't mind spending a wee bit more: the plates (with rice, salad, and casserole dishes) are massive, delicious, and filling.

If you don't feel like walking 8 minutes to Christie station, you can always catch the 94 bus right outside the apartment. It's a little slower than the subway of course, but is great to use on rainy days or even days that are just too hot to be walking around.

Shopping

Apple, Chapters, a wide range of clothing stores, a fantastic food court... These are all good reasons to go to Eaton Centre. My favourite part of this mall, though, is the space itself. It's like walking down a long and extremely tall glass tube.
