Healthy, home-made options, including gluten-free and vegan. Most delicious baked goods. Best affordable breakfast sandwich on island. Relaxing, casual to-go spot with outside seating. We love to hang out there with our pups. It's become more popular over the past few years but mostly local clientele.

Boutique gourmet market in downtown Edgartown. Great prepared food and to-order items available til 4pm. Nice breakfast sandwich with a home-made English muffin. Market is ideal for foodies; I especially love browsing their unique product offerings and cookbook collection.

High-end market. Specialty beers. Sushi bar. Only place on island that sells Starbuck's Coffee by the cup thus expect some lines. A bit pricey but their marinated chicken breasts and sirloin tips are decently priced and delicious on the grill.

Right on the air-field not far from South Beach. Great breakfast! Great views of people taking rides on single engine planes. You can reserve a table using the app "No Wait" to avoid a long wait. Lots of families and kids.

Classic New England setting. Sit on the porch, get a drink and enjoy spectacular view of harbor and lighthouse. Short walk to beach. Grab a bite in their casual pub. Prix-fixe Sunday brunch used to be a bargain with many seafood options; haven't been in awhile so can't say.

Great fish market located in Menemsha. Owned by same family as Larsen's Fish Market which is right next door but tends to have much longer lines. Affordable combo lobster dinners that can be enjoyed on the beach while watching infamous Menemsha sunsets or you can sit behind the market on fishing crates with views of authentic lobster and other fishing boats.

Grocery store that carries many specialty items. It's similar to a Whole Foods Market. Has a good "bulk" section. There is a fabulous health food store located adjacent to Cronig's that's worth the visit if you are into that kind of place.

Drinks & Nightlife

Daily one buck oyster and clam happy hour. Check schedule for live band and DJ line ups that usually kick off around 9pm. Sometimes the crowd is more mature than other spots in OB but great for groups who know how to make their own party.

Parks & Nature

Beach, Wild life refuge. One of the best kept beach secrets on the island. There is a huge pond on one side and the ocean beach on the other. The pond side attracts lots of families with kids but they tend to stay near the shore and with a few strokes you can enjoy the fresh water pond as if it were your own. Can rent kayaks and paddle boards. Limited parking. entrance fee and 5-7 minute walk but my most relaxing beach experience by far. Be prepared for a 2.5 mile bumpy road to entrance. Get there early or go after 3.
