A very incognito experience is to go to watch locals play choro (old Brazilian music form) together on a back yard in Urca on Sauturdays 12.30. After take a walk through residential neighbourhood Urca to end of for beer and fish soup at the legendary Bar do Urca while looking out over the water)

Or to have a typical Brazilian meal/ delicious meat, go to Rubayat, the restaurant where you look out over horse races at the inner city jockey club.
