Parks & Nature
Wayah Bald has a 360 degree view of the mountains and you can see for miles. There's an old stone fire tower you can lookout from. The Appalachian Trail goes right through it. One of our guests said it has an especially beautiful sunset. Practically a "birds eye view" of the mountains!

This is a beautiful, secluded lake just a few minutes from NSR. If you want peace and quiet in a lake setting, this is ideal. It is a great place to fish, boat, or just take a quiet walk.
