Beaches

Location: Trunk 3, Queensland, Nova Scotia The Seawall Beach is only 5 minutes (66 minute walk) from the apartment, heading West on St. Margarets Bay Road. We have mostly noticed surfers at this beach. You want to go at low tide, as there is not much beach at high tide.

Location: 8465 St Margarets Bay Rd, Black Point This place is a 2 minute drive (25 minute walk) heading West on St. Margarets Bay Road (Trunk 3) from the apartment common driveway entrance. Emile's is Canadian Fare with a Lebanese flair. We had dinner there very recently and enjoyed the Fish & Chips with smashed peas and lemon tartar sauce and the Butcher Burger with white cheddar and bacon, and it comes with fries. My husband and I like to share and we cleaned our plates, so flavorful.

This is a great place on a sunny day to grab a light lunch on your way to and from Peggy’s Cove. Jim and I shared a club sandwich, which was delicious. Highly recommend 👍

This is a picturesque hiking trail that Jim and I love. We think it’s better than Peggy’s Cove, just without the lighthouse. Polly’s Cove Trail is a short coastal trail adjacent to the historic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse in St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia. The trail offers beautiful views of the ocean, including numerous look-offs and cliff views, as well as unique views of the Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse in the distance, and is home to a number of abandoned war bunkers.
