Arguably the best pizza in the country – New Haven style apizza. While BAR isn't considered part of the trifecta, it sure does have some amazing apizza as well! As well as great beer and a great bar scene. Don't forget to check out Louis' Lunch across the street where the hamburger was invented.

The old Savin Rock was one of the biggest and best amusement parks in its hayday. It was the Coney Island of Connecticut. While only a handful or restaurants remain, the memories, spirit, and community live on. You can walk the beach boardwalk and see signage of where landmarks and rides used to be. It's a gorgeous few miles walk.

Convenient public transportation

The MetroNorth train is about a mile away and takes you along the Connecticut coast line west/south and ends in NYC at Grand Central Station. There are bus lines convenient nearby as well on Jones Hill Rd.
