Caerleon was home to the Romans, you can see evidence of their occupation from as far back as 74-300AD. The Roman baths and the amphitheater are well worth a visit. The beautiful castle wall is unique.

If you think you've been to Swansea and its been a few year, go again. It's changed so much over recent years. With lots of regeneration happening, its the place to be if you're a student, a family, a mature person. It used to be fab when I was a teen but I just love the beaches and the town.

City advice

Getting around

Buses are the fastest way to get around

You're very near the train station and the town centre. Its so easy to get a bus amost anywhere from the bus station about 15 min walk. If you need to get somewhere fast, book a taxi. Dragon Taxi or Chow taxi are the longest serving. Train to Cardiff and Bristol is also super easy...but you know that don't you :-)
