Drinks & Nightlife

This is a nice spot for a glass of wine before hitting the clubs or grabbing dinner. Right by the apartment making heels painless.

Tao is one of the better nightclubs in the city. There are two locations but the downtown one is the place to be. Let me know if you plan on going, let me know in advance, I can probably get you on a list for free entrance and a table with bottle service.

Lavo is my favorite midtown club to check out. Very fun and high energy. Lots of surprise celebrity appearances and great DJs. Let me know if you plan on going, let me know in advance, I can probably get you on a list for free entrance and a table with bottle service.

This is a cooler "underground" spot in the city. A lot of people don't know about it. Has a fun speakeasy vibe with great cocktails.

If you want an authentic Bagel while you visit, the trip to Ess-A-Bagel is worth it. I promise. Pro-tip, skip the line (there always is one) and go inside to the "Express Bagel" counter at the back. The bagels are always hot and fresh , they just don't cut them and you have to order the spreads on the side. A good trade off for cutting out a 25/30-minute wait.

This is a really great area in general. There are very beautiful parks to check out, fun shopping an dining areas, and some amazing photo-ops (look for the cobblestone street with the bridge in the background).

My favorite place in Manhattan. Beuatiful park to walk through, lively markets on weekends. The holidays have a special "Holiday Village worth checking out too. There are also some nice restaurants in the area as well as shops. Enjoy!

Parks & Nature

In my personal Opinion, the best park in NYC. Just a couple of blocks away, this park is HUGE and full of some really great trails, biking and running paths, as well as views. You can even book rowboats, fishing lessons, and horseback trail rides. It's also less "touristy" than central park so you won't have as many crowds.

Arts & Culture

If you want a genuinely authentic experience, I highly recommend the Tenement Museum. It's a really amazing way to learn about NYC's history and culture.
