The bus stop that would take you to the City centre or Train Station is just behind the house. Bus schedules at Google Maps are pretty accurate. Buses will allow you to travel all over town.

Train from Redditch

There are trains running from Redditch to Lichfield Trent Valley. The journey to Birmingham City Center takes around 40 mins, there are roughly 2 trains per hour during the day and the trains are running until the late evening hours.
